- molecular aspects of plant genetics;
2. Problems of applied plant breeding
- theory of selection in modern breeding;
- formation of breeding programmes and practical obtained results;
3. Problems of applied plant biotechnology
- tissue culture methods application in introduction, breeding and propagation of cultivated plants;
- creation of plant collections in vitro (medium-term conservation and cryopreservation of plant germplasm )
- modern biotechnologies (GMOs, biological safety, etc.)

A number of interesting events are being planned as part of the Conference, including tours of the South Coast of the Crimea and the Nikitsky Botanical Gardens, with the impressive annual show “A Ball of Chrysanthemums”, and a testing of super Crimea wines at the Institute “Magarach”.

The working languages of the Conference – Ukrainian, Russian and English.
